Our leadership team is here to help nurture and support the greater New York City cycling community. Here is a little bit about who we are.

Emily is co-founder of Bicycle Habitat Women’s Cycling, a Body Geometry Certified Bike Fitter, and Trek Women’s Advocate. She believes riding a bike shouldn’t hurt and has helped many women ride longer, faster, and with more comfort. Contact Emily if you have questions about bike fit. Fun fact: Emily does the NYC Marathon every year.

Jeanne is our resident triathlon expert with a head full of knowledge about long course nutrition and multi-sport racing. She placed 7th at Ironman Lake Tahoe’s inaugural race and is also an avid mountain biker. Jeanne’s personality makes her one of our favorite ride leaders, and beginners in particular can benefit from her down to earth advice.

Alexa is a Trek Women’s Advocate and an expert on road riding in NYC. She regularly travels with her bike to the Hamptons, Berkshires, and Europe. A former triathlete, she realized cycling was her true love and hasn’t looked back. Alexa is also a recent mountain bike convert, spending most weekends exploring the trails in NY and NJ.

Lisa has been logging big miles and climbs since 2008. Whether it’s the Hudson Valley, a hilly road race, or a stage of the Tour de France, she keeps looking for more challenges (recently adding mountain biking to the roster). Lisa has been mentoring and coaching cyclists for several years. Her favorite thing about coaching is watching riders fall more in love with the sport.

Blythe took up cycling in 2015 when she bought a road bike from Bicycle Habitat Soho. After building confidence on clipless pedals, she started doing our Central Park rides. Since then, she’s logged thousands of miles in the New York area. In 2016 she completed the New York Gran Fondo, Bear Mountain Classic road race, and Death Ride in California.
